This bricklaying course is for you if you want to learn the basic skills required in this specialist trade to enable you to seek a job in the industry. At this level, you do not need experience, just enthusiasm and commitment to learn and undertake a range of small projects.

This course will help to develop the skills employers in industry are looking for such as technical and practical skills, problem solving, team working and communication.

How will I be assessed?
Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment.
2 GCSEs including English and Maths, and being able to show a genuine interest in the Bricklaying industry. And/or hold an Entry Level 3 qualification.
A course contribution fee of £50.00 will apply, this contributes towards an external trade-related trip, course textbook and course administration. You will have to supply your own safety boots and overalls.
Upon successful completion, you may proceed onto the Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying.
You will be able to find full employment in the bricklaying industry.
