Level 2 Apprenticeship in Plumbing

Introduction

We are the largest provider of apprenticeships in Buckinghamshire. Our experienced team of Trainer-Assessors works closely with apprentices and their employers, supporting you throughout your apprenticeship. We deliver the Level 2 Apprenticeship in Plumbing using the day release model, with students attending college 1 day per week. We pride ourselves on our industry-standard facilities and the outstanding support we deliver for apprentices and employers.

Where can I study?

What will I learn?

You will learn how to bend copper and steel pipe-work, complete maintenance tasks on a bathroom and install a fully working bathroom suite.

How will I be assessed?

There will be theory and practical assignments in college, assessmsnt in the workplace throughout the apprenticeship plus open and closed book exams.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs at C or above including English and Maths. You will need to have a job within the plumbing industry.

Progression

Once you have completed and passed the Level 2 course you can apply for the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Plumbing (A-level equivalent).

Career opportunities

You will be able to work on a variety of plumbing projects including sustainable technology.
