This bricklaying course is ideal if you are preparing to work in the industry or are already employed and need a recognised industry qualification. This course will help you to develop your existing skills and knowledge and introduce you to more advanced techniques.

You will develop the skills employers in industry are looking for such as technical and practical skills, problem solving, team working and communication.

How will I be assessed?
Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment.
3 GCSEs at D or above, one of which must be English or Maths. Or a full Level 1 qualification at Merit grade or above.
A course contribution fee of £50.00 will apply, this contributes towards an external trade-related trip, course textbook and course administration. You will have to supply your own safety boots and overalls.
Upon successful completion, you may proceed onto the Level 3 Diploma in Bricklaying.
You will be able to find full employment in the bricklaying industry.

This course is fully funded for students who are 16-18 years of age.
