This site carpentry course is for you if you are preparing to work in the industry or already employed and need a recognised industry qualification. This course will help you to develop your existing skills and knowledge and introduce you to more advanced techniques.

How will I be assessed?
Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment.
3 GCSEs at D or above one of which must be English or Maths, or a full Level 1 qualification at Merit grade or above. Entry is also subject to an interview, basic skills screening and initial assessment.
A course contribution fee of £50.00 will apply, this contributes towards an external trade trade-related trip, course textbook and course administration. You will also be required to supply your own safety boots and overalls.
Upon successful completion, you may proceed onto the Level 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry.
You will be able to find full employment in the Carpentry and Joinery Industry as, for example, a site carpenter.
