Where can I study?
What will I learn?
This course aims to foster self-confidence and enjoyment of painting in a stimulating environment. Whilst also exploring a creative approach to painting, the course aims to help you establish your own style and identity. This course is a fun and relaxing experience, offering a range of guidance from the tutor.
Students will have an excellent opportunity to explore materials and improve observational skills, along with new approaches to painting. Instruction is given specific to your needs, along with supportive and helpful group critiques.
There is a great sense of community at the Thursday Painting workshop and many students return year on year to continue progressing in their own skill level.
Tables and easels are provided. Students supply their own materials, tutors will advise further at the start of the course, however a hard-backed A3 sketchbook is essential.
