A-Level Results Day

A-Level Results Day

Yesterday, the final cohort of A-level students at Aylesbury College came to collect their long awaited results.  Below are just a few of their reactions and progression routes.

Patricia studied 3 A-Levels Sociology, Psychology and Media and will be studying Criminology in September at University.

Stephanie came to college after wanting a change in atmosphere and environment from school. She has successfully passed all 3 of her A-Levels and will be attending Coventry University in October to study Criminology. ‘’I didn’t want to stay in school and I am so glad I didn’t!  My experience here has been amazing and I would do it all over again. I now have the opportunity to go to university and am so pleased with my results!”

Ebony said “I am overjoyed with my results! I’ve received an A* and 2 B’s which I was not expecting. I can’t give my tutors enough credit for helping me accomplish these grades’’.

Elspeth was shocked when she realised she had not received her predicated grade of a B, but in fact an A*!  After 2 years of studying at Aylesbury College, she leaves with 2 A-Levels and a BTEC Level 3 diploma with a Distinction Grade.  Elspeth thought university was never an option for her, however having achieved these grades she is now considering it. ‘’My brain has been completely fried after doing so much work but it has all paid off!”.  Elspeth’s Mum added ‘’Coming here has been wonderful and she has developed so much. The support here has been excellent’’.

A-Level Tutor, Agnes said “I am really happy!  Our students have worked so hard reaching such amazing grades. We have had students achieving A*’s and all of my students have been offered a place at University”.

Congratulations to all of our students, we wish you all the best in your next steps.

Come along to a drop-in session to find out about the wide range of courses offered at Aylesbury College.
