MPs, college business associates/partners, other VIPs, plus a number of college staff and students were invited to attend the historic event.

“Level 3 Art & Design student Lillian Shons-Williams, who was photographer for the day said,” It feels so special to have been invited and it’s been a brilliant experience.  All of the rooms are so interesting and there are loads of things to photograph to help capture the mood of the day.”

Speakers House is a grand building which overlooks the Thames and Westminster Bridge and is decorated in a gothic style with ornate chandeliers and portraits of former holders of the historic post of Speaker.
