Last week Business students from Aylesbury College went on a trip to Cadbury World in Birmingham.
The day started with a talk by factory staff on topics including recruitment and marketing of the brand. This gave students the opportunity to hear about themes they had learned in the class room, and see how they are applied in real life.
The students learned how Cadbury's targeted their customers including how specific products are designed for different market segments. They also learned how Cadbury's have extended their brand into other markets for example, ice cream, in order to continue to grow the business.
Next was a visit to the 4D cinema, before a tour of the factory and museum. The day finished with obligatory free chocolate and samples, which went down very well with the students!
