Information for Employers
Our students regularly engage with employers whether it is through work experience or placements, trips and visits, employer talks or working on live briefs.
We believe it is vital for students to engage with a range of employers throughout their course, developing key workplace skills and seeing for themselves the opportunities and careers available.
Take on an Apprentice!
At Buckinghamshire College Group we work closely with employers for the benefit of our students, businesses and the local community. We are the largest provider of apprenticeship training in the area and also provide bespoke training solutions for local employers to help upskill your workforce and increase productivity.
We see our partnerships with employers as a two-way relationship, and many local businesses contribute a huge amount to our students in terms of offering work placements or providing live briefs or talks and demonstrations. You can find more details on our services for employers below and also further information on how you could work with us to support our work in preparing young people for their careers.

Work Experience Works!
We're looking for forward-thinking local employers who would be willing to provide work experience for Buckinghamshire College Group students. Work experience opportunities are vital for students to gain an understanding of the world of work. By hosting one or more of our students you would be giving young people a great opportunity and bringing benefits to your own business as well.
Work experience placements are flexible and can be arranged to fit with your requirements, whether you're able to offer a placement for just a few hours a week or would prefer a student to work a full day each week for a period of six months.
Lots of jobs can help students gain valuable transferable skills, so even if your industry doesn't directly relate to a student's course, it can still be hugely beneficial on both parts. Offering work experience could also offer a fantastic way to meet potential candidates for apprenticeships or even employment on the completion of the student's course.
If your organisation is able to support our students by joining our work experience scheme, please get in touch!
Engagement
We're always keen to engage with local employers who would be willing to provide work experience and work placement opportunities or engage with students by delivering a talk or providing a live-work brief.
