This brand new and exciting course is designed by industry pros to introduce you to a career in the Art department for the Film Industry.
Splitting your time between the Buckinghamshire College Group Amersham Campus and Creative Media Skills state of the art studio base in the heart of British Film, Pinewood Studios, you will meet and learn from some of the most recognised and actively working industry professionals.

What will I learn?
You will learn a mix of practical skills that are requested by employers nowadays as well as developing a range of creative elements to support practice and industry etiquette. You will also learn key digital skills to be able to run 3D printers and CNC equipment.

How will I be assessed?
Across the programme you will have continuous assessment with particular focus on practical work required for the projects. In the UAL grading structure your final grade, Pass, Merit or Distinction is based on the final major project.

Entry Requirements
Applicants need to be 18 and over. It is desirable for students to have attained GCSEs English and maths but applications from candidates with good levels of literacy and numeracy will be considered for mature candidates.
A professional interview will be required.

This course is in conjunction with our partners CMS at Pinewood, the course will be split between time at Pinewood in a professional environment and at Amersham using the expertise of our experienced teaching team.
There will be a requirement to buy some kit and pay a studio fee to cover consumable expenses. Industry appropriate dress at all times.
