This course is designed to provide you with an introduction to a wide range of skills suitable for the creative industries. Creativity and experimentation are promoted throughout this course as students combine mediums to produce innovative and exciting outcomes.

What will I learn?
You will develop a diverse portfolio of graphic design, photography and mixed media work. The course aims to develop 'whole creative' - those who are able to produce work in a variety of modern creative mediums which is now expected by future employers.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at 3 (D) or above including English and/or Maths and a creative subject such as Art, Graphics, Photography or Textiles. You will be required to attend a taster session and provide a portfolio of work upon interview.

Progression & Career Opportunities
You will be able to progress onto Level 3 Diploma in Art and Design. This course is designed to enable you to be suitable to enter junior positions in some creative sectors with skills that will enable you to work effectively and creatively.

Additional Information
You will spend three days a week at College. Please bring along some examples of your art work to show to Tutors at the interview. Any candidates who do not bring work with them can only be offered a conditional place; meaning they will not be able to join the course until we have seen acceptable examples of their work.
There will be an additional cost for studio fees and trips (Approx £170).
