We are the largest provider of apprenticeships in Buckinghamshire. Our experienced team of Trainer-Assessors works closely with apprentices and their employers, supporting you throughout your apprenticeship. We deliver this apprenticeship using the mixed delivery model. Students work full time in the workplace and attend college for a monthly evening workshop. Evening maths, English and ICT lessons may be required in addition to the workshops. We pride ourselves on our industry-standard facilities and the outstanding support we deliver for apprentices and employers.

What will I learn?
This qualification is ideal if you are working with children between birth and five years, and will enable you to gain knowledge of working with children up to seven years. In order to be employed as a full and relevant Level 3 practitioner you will need to have gained Grade C or above in Maths and English on exit of the qualification. This course aims to give learners the opportunity to gain a level 3 qualification and to develop the knowledge and skills needed when supporting children in an early years environment.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by written tasks and by being observed in the work setting on a regular basis there is NO exam.
Learners should be at least 16 years old and working in a suitable setting for a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Progression & Career Opportunities
This qualification allows progression onto other Level 3 qualifications including our Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools and the Level 4 Foundation Degree in Early Years. Working in a nursery setting or as a teaching assistant for young children.
