The IEMA Foundation Certificate has been developed to provide a basic knowledge of environmental and sustainability principles to build upon. It covers a range of environmental, sustainability and governance principles with a focus on practical application.
What will I learn?
Upon completion of this course, learners will be able to: Understand business, governance and environmental principles and their relationship with organisations, products and services, Ensure compliance with major environmental policy and legislation , Implement specific tools, techniques, systems and practices to improve sustainability performance, Collect data, perform analysis, and evaluate information to provide sustainable solutions, Implement change and transformation to improve sustainability
How will I be assessed?
At the end of the course you will complete an online exam which is open book. The exam is in a multiple choice format with 30 questions and you will have 1 hour to complete it.
All delegates must have a good understanding of written and spoken English. Translators are not allowed to attend. Full attendance throughout the duration of the training.
