This bricklaying course is ideal if you are preparing to work in the industry or are already employed and need a recognised industry qualification. This course will help you to develop your existing skills and knowledge and introduce you to more advanced techniques.
What will I learn?
You will develop the skills employers in industry are looking for such as technical and practical skills, problem solving, team working and communication.

- Decorative and reinforced brickwork
How will I be assessed?
Progress and achievement is recorded throughout the year via practical assessments, theory assessments, external tests and a practical synoptic assignment.
A Level 2 Diploma in Bricklaying or equivalent. Applicants will preferably already be working in a related industry.
Progression & Career Opportunities
On completion of this course you may enter employment or train further via an Apprenticeship. Further training routes could lead to roles such as a Brick Team Leader or On-site Assessor.
You will be able to find full employment in the bricklaying industry.
A course contribution fee of £50.00 will apply. You will have to supply your own safety boots and overalls.
This course will run 6 hours per week over two evenings for 36 weeks.
