We are the largest provider of apprenticeships in Buckinghamshire. Our experienced team of Trainer-Assessors works closely with apprentices and their employers, supporting you throughout your apprenticeship. We deliver this apprenticeship using the day release model. This means that you will work for 4 days a week and attend college for one day a week. We pride ourselves on our industry-standard facilities and the outstanding support we deliver for apprentices and their employers.
What will I learn?
Health & Safety in the Workplace, Electrical Science, Working Safely and Effectively with Electricity, Basic Electrical Principles, The Installation and Wiring of Electrical systems and Equipment in the workplace. You will also be gaining site experience with an electrical employer 4 days a week.

How will I be assessed?
Assessments are obtained in 4 ways: via an online City and Guilds (GOLA) exam, written assignments within the workplace, practical skills assessments and use of an e-portfolio to document work observations and other types of evidence that you may of produce.
You will need to show genuine interest in the electrical industry and be employed by an Electrical contractor. Ideally you will have at least 3 GCSEs at C or above including English, Maths and IT, or a full Level 2 qualification at Merit grade or above.
Progression & Career Opportunities
After completing the level 3 advanced apprenticeship you can move onto specialised higher level courses. Work as an electrician in domestic or commercial projects and sites.
