This qualification is intended for those interested in joining the electrical contracting industry. It provides the skills and knowledge necessary for the installation of wiring systems and other electrical equipment.
What will I learn?

How will I be assessed?
Assessments are obtained in two ways: via an online City and Guilds (GOLA) exam and practical skills assessment within the workshop.
You will need to show genuine interest in the Electrical industry. Entry is also dependant on an interview, Functional skills assessment (English and Maths). You will need 3 GCSE at 4 or above including both English and Maths.
Progression & Career Opportunities
You will be able to progress to Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or City & Guilds Work Based Apprenticeship. The qualification will enable you to find employment within the Electrical Installation industry.
A course contribution fee of £130.00, this covers one external trade related trip and one textbook. You will be required to supply your own boots and overalls.
