This course is Preparation for IELTS, the International English Language Testing System. IELTS is accepted as evidence of English language proficiency worldwide to communicate in English for education, immigration and professional accreditation.

What will I learn?
Students will learn how to prepare for the IELTS test. This will include learning and improving all aspects of English vocabulary, evaluation and analysis of written texts.

How will I be assessed?
The examination is jointly assessed and run by Cambridge ESOL, the British Council and IELTS Australia. Candidates are tested in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.

Entry Requirements
The course is aimed towards students who have an intermediate (Entry 3) - Advanced (Level 2) level of English and are seeking to gain an IELTS Band score of 5-7. The course may have to be divided into lower and higher levels depending on student levels.
