The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses are designed for people whose first language is not English and want to improve their spoken and written language skills.
What will I learn?
At Entry 1, we will study basic grammar and vocabulary to help you in every day life. We will study asking and answering questions, completing simple forms and improve vocabulary.
How will I be assessed?
There will be three exams over the year; Speaking and Listening, writing and reading. These exams are done in the college.
While there are no entry requirements, you will be required to do a placement test when you come to the college.
Progression & Career Opportunities
Students who study Entry 1 will expect to progress to Entry 2 in the next academic year.
Cost of Study
£200 for 10 weeks (30 weeks in total)
There will be an additional cost for books - £20-£30, along with a parking charge for drivers (£45).
