The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses are designed for people whose first language is not English and want to improve their spoken and written language skills.
What will I learn?
At Entry 3, you will build on your existing knowledge of Grammar and Vocabulary. We will study how to make complex sentences (conditionals, relative clauses etc), how to talk, write and ask questions in the past, present and future, and continue to build your skills for life in the UK.
How will I be assessed?
There are three exams in the year; Speaking and Listening in December, Writing in April, and Reading in June. You will do the exams in the college.
There are no formal entry requirements; however, you will need to do a placement test so that we can assess your level.

Students who study Entry 3 can expect to progress to Level 1 the following year.
