On this creative, varied and dynamic course, you will be guided through the core skills for communicating a brands identity and values through a range of visual means.
You will be immersed in the world of communication through physical and digital platforms, showing how a brand reaches its target audience. In order to be successful in the current retail environment, brands must reach customers through a wide range of different visual channels and platforms, in order to give their customers the existing and immerse experience they want, whether shopping in-store, on social media, or via a website.

What will I learn?
The Level 4 in Visual Merchandising and Branding is designed to provide students with an overview of the wider context of the role of visual display in an evolving retail context in both physical and digital contexts. This course will provide students with the specialist knowledge skills to understand the importance of visual display through key design principles, retail branding contexts, creative concepts and innovations.

How will I be assessed?
This qualification is assessed through five internally assessed and internally verified units (Units 15), which are graded at pass or fail. Then one internally assessed and internally verified unit (Unit 6) which is graded at Pass, Merit or Distinction. All work is coursework or practical based.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, it is recommended that students have a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English and Maths, and at least one A level (or equivalent Level 3 qualification), preferably in a related subject.
