Supporting our new students
Following the latest Government guidance around school closures and exam postponements, it is understandable for students to feel uncertain about their next academic steps, but we would like to reassure you this does not affect your application or offer of a place at college.
Time to Apply
Our applications are open and you can apply online now by clicking here. Once we have received your application we will contact you and invite you to a telephone interview with a relevant member of staff who will have reviewed your application. Following your interview you will receive an email containing details of your offer, please ensure that you accept your offer to secure your place on your chosen course.
Virtual Open Days
Following the latest Government guidance, we have had to close our College Campuses, however we are still holding virtual Open Days where you can ask teachers questions live online. To sign up for one of these events please complete the registration for by clicking here.
In the meantime, once you’ve applied online we'll be in touch via e-mail to show you an exclusive insight into life at Buckinghamshire College Group and give you a flavour of what's to come. (I want to send a link to a video about the college campuses once they are completed)

Exams and Assessments
Following Government guidance around college/school closures and exam postponements, it is understandable for you to have questions about your next academic steps. The College remains committed to supporting you to progress to your desired destination.
As the Department for Education and Examination Bodies work towards a solution, we will be keeping a close eye on updates that might affect our next cohort of students to ensure a smooth transition when joining us in the new academic year.
Ofqual, the exam regulator, is developing and setting out a process that will provide a calculated grade to each student which reflects their performance as fairly as possible, they are working with the awarding bodies and exam boards to ensure this is consistently applied for all students. The awarding bodies and exam boards will be asking tutors, who know their students well, to submit their judgement about the grade that they believe the student would have received if assessments and exams had gone ahead.
Therefore, you should still continue engaging with your studies, developing your skills and working towards the best grade possible.
For those who wish to do so, the Government have also announced that there will also be an option to sit an exam during the next academic year.
We will provide you with further updates as we have them, in the meantime please feel free to contact our admissions team by email should you have any questions. You can access the latest exams update from the Government here.
