What will I learn?
You will study how to analyse, evaluate and create your own fiction and non-fiction texts. You will develop practical employability skills such as writing formally and creating presentations.

How will I be assessed?
There will be a verbal controlled assessment in class and two written examinations at the end of the course.

Entry Requirements
GCSE English Language grade 3 or an appropriate diagnostic test score.

The course will allow you to progress to some Level 3 vocational courses. This qualification is an essential requirement for many employees and the transferable skills are highly valued in many occupations including Retail, Marketing, Education, Childcare and many more.
