This new course is designed for students who would like an introduction to Music Performance and/or Production but need to study English and Maths in order to reach the entry requirements for Level 2.
What will I learn?
This course is a full-time study programme and has been formulated to prepare you for the future. This means as well as studying your chosen course, you'll also work on important skills to help to equip you for your future career. Your study programme will include: Music Performance and production, English & Maths and/or subject related IT sessions (Digital Skills), a 45 day subject related work placement (Industry Placement), personal development sessions (Tutorials) and independent study sessions (Directed Study).
In your main course you will learn the basics of music performance, studio production, and electronic production.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through the year on a series of pass level projects intended to develop your skills. These will guide you towards a final major project where you will be assessed at Pass, Merit or Distinction.
GCSE at Grade 1 or higher in English and Maths. There will also be an audition process.

This course is run under the UAL (University of the Arts London) exam board specification.
