This course is for students wishing to develop the personal skills and qualities needed for working in the music industry, both performing and recording/editing.

What will I learn?
You will learn the basics of studio recording or performance, sequencing in Logic Pro X, and music arranging skills to prepare you for progression to our level 3 courses or employment in the area.

Students are assessed on a series of practical assignments and practical work.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above.

Progression & Career Opportunities
This course leads either into employment using the broad base of skills developed on the course, or onto further education such as Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music or Music Technology.
