This new course is designed for students who would like an introduction to performance in either Performing Arts or Music but need to study English and Maths in order to reach the entry requirements for Level 2.

  • What will I learn?

    Depending on your intended pathway you could learn singing, music performance, or acting skills.

  • Example modules

    • Communication with an Audience
    • Production Development
    • Performance Development.
  • How will I be assessed?

    You will be assessed through the year on a series of pass level projects intended to develop your skills. These will guide you towards a final major project where you will be assessed at Pass, Merit or Distinction.

  • Entry Requirements

    Grade 2 (E) in English and Maths GCSE. There will also be an audition process.

  • Progression & Career Opportunities

    Level 2 Performing and Production Arts or Level 2 Music Performance and Production. Students can potentially go on to become a professional musician, actor or singer.

  • Cost of Study

    This course is fully funded for students who are 16-18 years of age.

  • Additional Information

    This course is run under the UAL (University of the Arts London) exam board specification.
