This qualification has been specifically designed to enable you to learn both aspects of hairdressing and media make-up. It will provide you with the skills and techniques to enable you to provide services to a high level of occupational ability. Students work collaboratively with media and performing arts departments, TV studios, fashion, media, external events, and with the close proximity of lead practitioners many students gain professional work skills in industry, which can boost assessment opportunities and broaden communication, styling and creative skills.
What will I learn?
Course content includes the opportunity to understand and experience a variety of techniques used in the world of media make-up through a creative and challenging curriculum and excellent facilities.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through assignments and functional skills tests in English and Maths.
4 GCSEs at grade 3 (grade D) or above, or equivalent.
Students are required to buy a uniform and a set of equipment.
