This course is an excellent springboard for students wishing to develop the relevant knowledge and understanding required for entering into career in the Sport, Recreation and Leisure industry. Using our new full size 3G pitch we are able to provide a learning opportunity for the skills required to deliver sports coaching in the community and sports industry.

What will I learn?
You will gain a broad base of knowledge, enabling you to plan and support sports coaching, fitness training sessions and programmes to all ages and with consideration to disability and diversity.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is through a range of practical and portfolio based tasks throughout the year.

Entry Requirements
3 GCSEs to include a minimum of Maths grade 3 (D) and English grade 3 (D). Science and PE would be an advantage for this course also.

The course is designed so that students can progress to a job within the football and fitness industries.
