This qualification will provide entry onto the Register of Exercise Professionals at Level 2. This course is suited to people who would like a career change and for people who are looking to study around a full time job.

  • What will I learn?

    This qualification provides the knowledge and skills to enable learners to plan, deliver and evaluate safe and effective gym based sessions.

    • Anatomy and physiology for exercise
    • Know how to support clients who take part in exercise and physical activity
    • Health, safety and welfare in a fitness
    • Principles of exercise, fitness and health environment
  • How will I be assessed?

    You will carry out a range of assignments, which will be assessed through coursework, x2 Multiple Choice Examinations and Practical Demonstrations.

  • Entry Requirements

    You will need to show a high level of commitment to learning and a keen interest in Exercise and Fitness. The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential; therefore, a degree of physical fitness is necessary. There is also an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at level 2.

    Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training Fitness Instructor / Lifestyle Consultant.
