This is an ideal qualification for school-leavers interested in a career in any uniformed services and sports. This course can offer you the route to an extremely rewarding career. What will I learn?
This course covers a range of units to give learners an opportunity to cover cross subjects. The optional units within the qualification offers you an opportunity to participate in competitive sports and adventurous outdoor activities.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is via an internally assessed portfolio. You must successfully complete six mandatory units and one of two optional units to complete the qualification.
2 GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 2 (E) and/or Entry Level 3 qualification. Able to demonstrate subject interest . All applicants will be interviewed for entry onto this course.
Progression & Career Opportunities
Following successful completion of this course students will have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 2 Public Services and Sport course.
Cost of Study
This course is free of charge for students aged 16-18. There may be some additional costs for uniforms or trips and visits.
Students over 19 will have some course fees to pay to the college. The fee amount and any financial help available depends on individual circumstances and the course you are taking.
There may be additional costs for kit, materials, trips and other course related items.
