We understand that starting college can come with financial challenges. Before you begin your journey at Buckinghamshire College Group, you may need help covering costs such as course fees, equipment, uniforms, or travel.
Each year, we allocate funding specifically to support students who may struggle with these additional expenses. These funds are here to help make college more accessible for everyone.
Use the information on this page to explore the different types of financial assistance available and find out how we can support you.
- All 16–18-year-old students are fully funded and are not required to pay course fees.
- If you are unemployed, on a low income or studying upto a Level 2 qualification and do not already hold a level 2 qualification, you may be eligible for funding on some courses. Contact our Admissions Team to determine eligibility.
- Courses over Level 3 may be covered by a student loan, such as the 19+ Advanced Learner Loan.
Support Available
The College Support Scheme (CSS) is available to provide financial assistance with costs associated with a course such as uniform, kit, books, DBS check, transport and mandatory trips, to those students whose circumstances mean that they may find it difficult to afford these items.
