This course is awarded by the University of Arts London (UAL). Over two years you will complete 13 units. It is suitable for any learners who wish to follow a career path in TV/Film or Media as a professional artist and/or makeup specialist.

How will I be assessed?
Each year students will complete a number of assignments combining theory, research and practical skills. At the end of the year students will complete a final major project (FMP) which is graded.
4 GCSEs at grade 4 (or C) and above to include English and Maths. A portfolio of work or research on work that inspires you is required
Progression & Career Opportunities
On successful completion of this course students may wish to progress onto a Lev 4 Hair & Media Make Up course or a degree in HE. Alternatively they made wish to enter employment, appreticehsips or internships within the creative industries. Make Up Artist for Stage & Screen, Body Artist, Creative Designer in Body Paint, Media/Film/TV, Makeup artist sales assistant, Beauty advisor, Freelance makeup artist
Students will be required to purchase a range of equipment specifically lined to the course. The list of materials and equipment will be made available during the interview process. Mature students applications will be considered on an individual basis and may not need to have achieved a qualifcation at Level 2 or above but a portfolio of work which influences you will be required
