Student & Learning Support
If you have learning needs, then our team of experienced Tutors and specialist staff will work with you to help you achieve your ambitions. We provide a confidential and flexible learning support service to help you overcome any challenge. We can also offer support during your application process – just let us know.
All aspects of Student Welfare are managed by our Student Services department. Based at the heart of each campus, the Student Services teams work tirelessly to provide advice, safety and reassurance to our students. Our Student Services Team can advise and assist you with financial problems, home troubles, accommodation or issues relating to your course and also provide one-on-one mentoring and general advice and guidance.
As a student the Learning Technology Team will provide you access to a cutting edge Virtual Learning Environment which acts as a portal to all your college digital services. All students have an E-ILP which allows ambitious targets to be set and progress to be monitored, which can be shared with parents or guardians too.
We will support you to make the most of these services whilst you are at College, as well as provide you the digital skills you need to succeed in the workplace. We offer the opportunity for all our Study Programme students to attend Digital Skills sessions which can lead to them achieving a Microsoft Office Specialist qualification.
The College is committed to investing in 21st Century technology to support students with their learning. Students have access to PCs, Macs, Chromebooks and iPads to assist them with their studies along with free WIFI if they wish to bring their own devices.
