Business Management
Isobel studied Level 2 Business administration, the first year of the foundation degree in Business Management , and BTEC level 3 in Business studies. Upon completing her courses, Isobel has progressed onto becoming a minute secretary for her doctor's surgery's patient participation group. She has also set up a braille transcription service, and have produced documents such as menus for blind customers.
- Why did you choose to study at Buckinghamshire College Group?
I chose to study at Bucks College group because it had the best support that I needed to meet my additional needs.
- Why did you choose this course and what were your ambitions at the time?
I chose these courses because I originally wanted to get a job in either administration or human resources, as well as expanding my knowledge on how businesses operate.
- What did you enjoy the most about your course and your time at the College?
I enjoyed the fact that most of the tutors treated me like an adult, and went out of their way to ensure that my needs were met.
- What experiences and skills from your course have been most valuable in your journey so far?
Being able to produce documents in my personal life to a very high standard.
- How did your time at the college help prepare you for where you are today?
It taught me to be disciplined when producing documents to a high standard and to meet deadlines.
