New Students
Starting college is a big step and we’re here to make sure you feel confident, supported and ready.

What to Expect in Your First Weeks
During your induction, you’ll be introduced to everything you need to succeed at college, including:

- Our Ready, Respectful, Safe approach to behaviour
- Your digital induction
- Opportunities like the Freshers’ Fair, clubs and trips

Your Study Programme

Get Involved in College Life

Student Engagement Team (SET)
Run by students, for students, this is your chance to shape your college experience.
You can:
- Share your ideas and influence decisions
- Develop leadership and teamwork skills
- Meet new people and build friendships
- Take part in events and community projects
Student Reps
Become a course representative and:
- Share feedback on behalf of your classmates
- Support college events like Open Events
- Act as a link between students and staff
Or simply join one of the many clubs and societies, including sports and student-led groups.
