- Why did you choose to study at Buckinghamshire College Group?
I loved the independence, the respect, the chance to self direct my learning, which I really rose to. I loved the discussions and being stretched to do better work.
- What were your ambitions at the time of your studies?
I wanted to go to university but wasn't sure what I wanted to study there.
- What did you enjoy the most about your course and your time at the College
The studying itself was stimulating & satisfying. I also loved the social life and made friends I still have to this day.
- What experiences and skills from your course have been most valuable in your journey so far?
The critical thinking, independent thinking and study skills I developed at Amersham College were invaluable, and helped me achieve distinctions in both of my degrees.
- How did your time at the college help prepare you for where you are today?
I learned how to be responsible for myself, how to manage my time & my deadlines, how to work with tutors to ask for help. I learned how to approach material critically and to enjoy what I was studying and take pleasure in it.
