- Why did you choose to study at Buckinghamshire College Group?
The course was the most appealing. After visiting I was convinced that it would be the right fit.
- Why did you choose this course and what were your ambitions at the time?
I always knew that I wanted to work with children in the educational field. The course was a perfect blend of practical and theoretical perspectives. I wanted hands on experience to be able to learn in the field, it also provided an opportunity to gain a potential role within the nursery.
I wanted to receive the qualification to have the option to go to university as well as have the opportunity to be qualified to go into the work force straight away.
- What did you enjoy the most about your course and your time at the College?
I made such good friends and it gave me so many positive experiences that I have learned from. Enhanced my CV and gave me an insight of what life could look like. I really enjoyed learning from my tutors as well as the support within my placement.
- What experiences and skills from your course have been most valuable in your journey so far?
Time management, Communication and so many transferable skills.
- How did your time at the college help prepare you for where you are today?
Academically I felt more integrated, I learned critical thinking evaluation, academic writing. I have received support through my UCAS application.
