To join this programme you will need both Maths and English at grade 4 and a level 1 in this subject.

- What will I learn?
You will gain basic practical skills of all aspects of general car maintenance and repair through workshop experience, and this will be backed up by a foundation of basic knowledge gained from class work.
- Additional Information A course contribution fee of £50.00, this covers one external trade related trip and one textbook. You will be required to supply your own boots and overalls.
- Progression
Following successful completion of this course you could move onto our level 3 apprenticeship.
- How am I assessed?
There will be practical and theory assessments throughout the year.
Level 2 Study Programme: Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
The knowledge and practical skills already gained in the IMI Award programme are further developed within this course to give you the confidence to gain employment in the Motor Vehicle Industry.
