Enrolling at College

Once you have applied for your dream course, you will be invited to an interview. You will then be offered a place. You will not be able to enrol until after you have received your GCSE results which come out in August. Buckinghamshire College will then be open for enrolment. You will be sent a letter inviting you in to enrol for your course. We will keep in touch with you throughout the process updating you on the next steps. How to apply

If you’re taking your GCSEs this year then now is the time to apply for your course at Buckinghamshire College Group.

Applying is easy - everything is online which means that you can make your application quickly and simply - and we receive it straight away. If you do get stuck or have any questions our Admissions team is here to help. So if you're ready to apply - here's how to do it.

Make your online application

Once you’ve found the course that’s just right for you, go to the course page on the website and click the Apply Now button at the top of the page.

This will take you to our online application system. You’ll need an email address, a parent or carer's email address and information about your achieved or predicted exam grades.

It’s important that you take your time and complete the form fully – our Tutors will be looking at your application before and during your interview and it forms an important part of our decision making process.

Once you’re happy – click submit. If there’s any essential information that you haven’t completed then you’ll be informed at this point.

Step Up - Enrolment for Current Students

The Step Up process is now open for current learners wanting to progress onto their next year or new course for the 2025/26 academic year. Step Up provides the opportunity for all learners to meet with their course leaders and agree progression routes at Buckinghamshire College Group. Over the next two weeks your course tutor will be arranging a meeting to agree your offer.

What happens next?

Once you have your conditional offer there is nothing further to do, you will receive formal notification of your offer by 21st July 2025. You do not need to do a separate application.

What if I do not meet the conditions of my offer?

Do not worry. If your offer is dependant on GCSEs and your results are not as expected, we will invite you in to discuss next steps and appropriate courses.
