All of our full-time students, aged 16-18, are enrolled onto our specially developed seven-part Study Programme. We are ambitious for you to succeed, so our study programme has been formulated to prepare you for the future. This means as well as studying your chosen course, you will also work on important skills to help equip you for your future career.
Part-time & Higher Education Courses
If you are thinking about studying at a higher level or even just interested in a new hobby, then anything is possible with a course at Buckinghamshire College Group. We offer Higher Education courses through our partnerships with local Universities, such as Bucks New University and University of Bedfordshire.
These give employees the opportunity to gain valuable qualifications whilst working. You will usually attend College for one day a week and go to work for the rest of the week. They are available to anybody 16 years and over, whether you are just leaving school, have been working for years or are looking for a new career.
T Levels are a brand new qualification designed to give you a head start towards the future you want. The 2-year T Level qualification brings classroom and work placement together on a course designed with employers and businesses
We also offer some courses online or a blend of online and in the College classes. The College continues to develop its online offering including professional development courses.
A Traineeship is an education and training programme with work experience that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core are work preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high quality work experience placement. Students will need work placement to be accepted for this course.
Alternatives to College
We are proud to offer facilities such as the Life Skills and Future Life Centres at our Aylesbury and Wycombe campuses, which are specifically designed to meet the needs of students with learning difficulties and are both comfortable and safe learning environments.
