T Levels are exciting two-year courses for students aged 16–19 who want to take the next step towards a skilled career. Designed in partnership with employers, they combine classroom learning with real-world experience — helping you build the knowledge, skills and confidence to go straight into work, an apprenticeship or university.
Each T Level is equivalent to three A Levels and carries the same UCAS points, so you’ll still have plenty of options for your future.
How T Levels Work
You’ll spend about 80% of your time in the classroom studying your chosen subject and developing technical skills, and 20% on an industry placement — around 45 days — where you’ll put what you’ve learned into practice with a real employer.
This mix of learning and experience makes T Levels ideal for students who prefer a hands-on, practical approach to education but still want a qualification that’s respected by universities and employers alike.
Why Choose a T Level?
- Learn from industry experts who bring real-world experience into the classroom.
- Gain valuable work experience through your industry placement.
- Keep your options open — progress to university, higher apprenticeships or straight into employment.
- Stand out to employers with a qualification designed with their input.
