As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, solar photovoltaic (PV) systems are becoming an increasingly important part of the UK’s transition to low-carbon energy. Qualified electricians with recognised solar PV installation skills are in high demand as homes and businesses invest in sustainable energy generation and battery storage technologies.
This Solar Photovoltaic Systems (NOS Mapped) Level 3 course at the Bucks Green Energy Skills Hub is designed for competent electricians who want to develop the skills and knowledge required to design, install, commission, and maintain small-scale solar PV systems.
The course is aligned to National Occupational Standards (NOS) and is recognised as a demonstration of competence for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), supporting progression into the renewable energy sector.
- Course Overview
Solar PV technology is a key part of the future of renewable energy generation and sustainable electrical installation.
This intensive three-day programme provides learners with the technical knowledge and practical understanding needed to safely install and commission solar photovoltaic systems in domestic and small commercial settings.
