This course is designed to provide a broad educational basis for further education, further training of for moving into employment with the Health and Social Care Sector.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment is continuous and will be based on assignments, practical work and workplace performance. You will attend college 3 days a week and placement one day a week.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSEs at 3 (D) or above, including English and Maths

Progression & Career Opportunities
This course will prepare you for further study at Level 3. Once you have completed the course you will be able to enter a number of industries. These include Nursing, Social Work and Social Care.

Additional Information
There will be a course contribution fee of £120 for materials. There is also an additional fee for the DBS check of approximately £60.
