Parent Portal

We have created a portal to help you gain more information about the progress of a student at college. For parents and carers the portal provides information on a student's attendance, punctuality and academic achievement, along with access to their timetable and work placement logs. For employers who are providing a work placement for a student, the portal allows for working hours to be approved and progress monitored.

Look out for phishing emails : We would like to remind everyone to be vigilant when viewing emails appearing to be from the college. If any email requests unexpected information to be entered, or has a strange attachment, please close it straight away.  If you are unsure of the authenticity of an email please call the college to check.

Progress Portal for parents and carers

For parents and carers logins to the system are issued automatically at the start of the academic year if the student is aged under 19. Login details are sent by email to the email address provided to the college. Please login by clicking the button below. If you have forgotten your password it is possible to reset this by clicking the "forgot my password" link below the login box.

2025/2026 Academic Year : Logins for Parents/Carers of students who joined the College will be sent out by email by Friday 19th September 2025 or within 5 working days from a student's enrolment (if joining the College after this date). Those who accessed the portal last academic year, will be issued with new passwords by email on the same date. If you do not receive your login details by Tuesday 23rd September 2025 or have any other login problems, please do contact our technical support team using the "Help? Raise a Support Ticket" button below.

Registering using the Parent Pin

If you are expecting login details but have not received them, or the student is over the age of 19, it is possible to register manually for the portal.

Every student has a Parent Pin, which is located on their EILP Portal (in Student Details). The student needs to locate the PIN and provide it to you. Once you have the PIN click the button below to register. Requests are manually reviewed and will be rejected if the PIN is incorrect or your details do not match our records.

Frequently asked questions

  • I haven't received my login details email, can I have it sent again?
If you haven't received your login details and your young person (aged under 19 at enrolment/start of year) is enrolled at College (they have a current ID Card) then please first check your email, especially your 'clutter' or 'junk' folders. If you can't find any email from us with your login details please log a support ticket using the button below.

We send out login details automatically around the end of September or a few weeks after starting college if they course starts later than this.

If the student is aged 19+ at the start of the academic year (on 1st September) then we do not issue login details automatically. Please see "I want to access a student's profile who is aged 19+ (at enrolment/start of year) can I?"
  • I can't login to the Progress Portal, can you help?
If you are unable to login, but were able to before, please click the 'Forgot your Password' link found on the login screen.

After 5-10 minutes you will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Do check your junk or clutter folders after 10 minutes if you have not received it in your main Inbox.

If you can't find any email from us after 10 minutes, please log a support ticket using the button below.
  • I havent been given access automatically at the start of the year, can I still have access?
If you were not given automatic access at Enrolment, you can still register manually. There is no limit on the number of parent, carers or supporters who can connect to a student's profile. Please see the section above titled "Registering using the Parent Pin". If it is not possible to complete this process please do contact the student's tutor who will be able to advise further.

  • I had access to the portal last year, but can't access this year, why doesnt it work now?
Logins to the Parent Portal only work for the current academic year. All logins are deleted on the 1st August each year and then reissued if/when a young person re-enrols in September.

If you haven't received your login details and your young person is enrolled at College (they have a current ID Card) then please first check your email, especially your clutter or junk folders. If you can't find any email from us with your login details please log a support ticket using the button below.

We send out login details automatically within 7 days of the completion of enrolment, starting from the start of term (first week of September).
  • I want to access a student's profile who is aged 19+ (at enrolment/ start of year) can I?
We do not automatically issue Parent/Carer access to the Progress Portal for those students who are aged 19+ (at enrolment/start of year). We are still happy to provide this service to support Parents, Carers and Students who wish to opt in to this.

If the student is aged 19+ at enrolment and is not considered a "Vulnerable Adult" this should be setup using the manual Parent Pin Registration. Please see the section above titled "Registering using the Parent Pin".

If the student is aged 19+ at enrolment and is considered to be a "Vulnerable Adult" then please contact us using the support ticket button below. We will be happy to support you both to set this up. You can also make use the Parent Pin Registration method described above, if the student is able to complete this.
