Students standing together outside

Our Experience Days, also known as Transition Days, are designed to help you feel confident, prepared and excited about starting at Buckinghamshire College Group.

Taking place in July, these sessions give you a real taste of college life before you begin in September. You’ll meet your tutors, explore your learning spaces and connect with other students on your course.

When Are the Experience Days?

Aylesbury Campus: Wednesday 1st July

Amersham & Wycombe Campuses: Thursday 2nd July

What to Expect on the Day

Your Experience Day is structured to give you a clear and supportive introduction to college.

Morning Session (All Students)
You’ll take part in course-based activities, including:

- Visiting your workshops, studios or classrooms
- Meeting your course tutors
- Getting to know your future classmates
- Taking part in subject taster activities
- Learning what to expect from your course in September

Afternoon Session (If Applicable)
If you have an EHCP (Education, Health & Care Plan) or SEND needs, you’ll also be invited to a support session.
Start time: From 12:00pm
Finish time: By 3:00pm (you can stay as long or as little as you like)
