Year 1 Carpentry apprentices at Buckinghamshire College Group recently took part in a hands-on training session focused on resin roofing to build specialist skills and gain valuable industry insight.
Delivered by experts from TuffStuff®, the session gave apprentices practical experience with flat roof installations using the TuffStuff® system. As part of the training, students learned about the installation process, product range and how to properly store materials to maintain performance. Each apprentice who completes the training will receive a certificate, helping them stand out in the workplace and boosting their future employability.
We were also pleased to welcome representatives from Jewson, who kindly provided goodie bags for all the apprentices on the day.
TuffStuff® offers some of the most comprehensive training in the flat roofing industry, and we’re proud to partner with them to deliver this session annually as part of our Carpentry apprenticeship programme.
This is another great example of how we work with industry partners to prepare our students with the skills, confidence and experience they need to succeed.
