Interns will receive top-notch training at a purpose-built café and other locations, equipping them with essential knowledge, abilities, and experience of a genuine working environment. They will receive support from the Mission EmployAble training team with on-the-job training, functional Maths, English, independence and employability classes. But it’s not all about work! As an intern, they will be encouraged to build positive relationships with colleagues through team-building activities and events.

Each intern will follow an individualised training program that caters to their unique needs and expectations. Our curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including basic food and drink preparation, health and safety protocols, hygiene practices, customer relations, and core employability skills. Additionally, we focus on other crucial areas such as timekeeping, independent travel, teamwork, and understanding rights and responsibilities in the workplace.
