Practical Skills Assessment: Practical competence is assessed through a range of hands-on tasks carried out in the college workshop. Learners are required to demonstrate their ability to work safely, accurately and professionally while completing industry-relevant installations. All practical work is observed and assessed by qualified tutors against City & Guilds assessment criteria, with feedback provided to support progress and skill development.
Ongoing Assessment and Support: Assessment is ongoing throughout the course and may also include written work, knowledge checks and professional discussions to support learning.
