- What will I learn?
You will be expected to participate fully in all class activities and undertake a considerable amount of independent study. You will learn essay writing, referencing skills, how to debate, analysing and how to evaluate academic sources.
- Additional Information Students who take out an Advanced Learning Loan to fund their Access course will get the amount of this loan wiped off their student debt on completion of their Higher Education Degree. - Progression
This course is designed for students to progress on to studying at university degree level or on to a higher apprenticeship. Leading to a variety of career opportunities such as Social Work, Law, Teaching, Criminology, Psychology, Probation Service or other graduate professions.
- How am I assessed?
Modules are graded at pass, merit or distinction, which leads to a portfolio of evidence at the end of the course. There may be some internal exams as part of the course.
Access to HE: Psychology and Criminology (Humanities) (Level 3)
Are you interested in a career involving Social Work, Law, Teaching, Criminology, Psychology, Probation Service or another graduate profession? The one-year, Level 3 Access to HE course will enable you to gain the required qualification and develop the knowledge and study skills to necessary to study successfully at university
