The Games department at Buckinghamshire College Group are proud to celebrate the unveiling of a striking new mural in the G23 Games Design classroom; a vibrant and imaginative piece created by recent graduate Isabella Hegarty as part of her work experience on the Game Art course.
Isabella, who achieved a Distinction in her studies at the College, has gone on to secure a place at Escape Studios, where she will continue developing her skills as a Game Artist. Before beginning this next chapter, she returned to campus to sign the mural she designed, marking a special moment for both herself and the Games team who supported her journey.
The mural is a visual celebration of the creativity and storytelling that define the Games curriculum at Bucks College Group. Rich in detail and character, the artwork reflects the imaginative spirit of the classroom and the students who learn within it. Those familiar with the world of games may even spot a few recognisable characters cleverly woven into the design, adding a playful and personal touch.
While the classroom itself has been reorganised to better support collaborative learning and creative exploration, it is Isabella’s mural that truly transforms the space. Her work stands as a testament to the talent nurtured within the Games department and serves as a lasting source of inspiration for future students.
The Games team are incredibly proud of Isabella and the dedication she has shown throughout her time at the College. Her contribution to the G23 classroom is more than just a piece of art – it will serve as a lasting source of inspiration for future students, reminding them of what is possible when talent meets opportunity.
We look forward to welcoming new students into G23 and seeing how this creative environment continues to inspire the next generation of game artists.
