We were delighted to recently welcome the Maidenhead Rangers to our Wycombe campus for an exciting hands-on automotive workshop. The session gave aspiring young learners the chance to dive into the essentials of car care, from checking oil levels to safely changing a tyre.
Hosted in our dedicated automotive training space, the group worked with real vehicles and industry-standard tools, gaining practical experience that goes beyond the classroom. These activities are designed to build confidence and promote safe driving habits, key skills for anyone preparing to get behind the wheel.
The visit also gave the Rangers a glimpse into the wide range of opportunities available in the automotive industry. From vehicle maintenance and repair to advanced diagnostics and electric vehicle technology, our courses are designed to equip learners with the skills employers are looking for. It’s a fantastic way to turn an interest in cars into a rewarding career.
This event is part of our ongoing commitment to providing engaging, real-world learning opportunities that inspire future careers in the automotive sector. We look forward to welcoming more community groups and learners to explore the wide range of technical and vocational courses available at Buckinghamshire College Group.
